August 12-14, 2011, a couple hundred Christian activists, new monastic contemplatives, recovering addicts, First Nations leaders, pastors and practitioners amongst the poor will gather in Mission, British Columbia, Canada on Stolo Nation land for a weekend of music and conversation inspired by God's vision of justice and creativity. Invited speakers and musicians include Ched Myers, Shane Claiborne, Shad, Elaine Enns, Bob Ekblad, Cheryl Bear and many more.
The festival will be a grassroots celebration, festival camping-style, of God's heart for those on the margins and for justice. Combining worship, bands, musicians, speakers, workshops, art and discussion around themes of justice, the vision is for a Greenbelt-type event that brings folks together from across the spectrum of faith and socio-economic backgrounds.
Early Bird tickets (at a special early bird discount price) will be available until the end of June only.
