Alter of the Wetlands and the Burning Man Experience


Event Details: Wednesday, September 25th, 5 pm, Hammond, LA at the Hammond Regional Arts Center


John Valentino, Associate Professor of New Media and Animation presenting Alter of the Wetlands [note: spelling is intentional] at Hammond Regional Arts Center.

This talk is based on the large-scale sculpture project that John Valentino and the NOLA Burners created for the Nevada Burning Man Festival held in August. Having received much local and national publicity, Valentino will discuss his motivation for the project and his experiences at the festival.
