For Girls Grades 4-8
Girls are encouraged to learn creative ways to express themselves in our Creative Girls Saturday Camps. From designing fashion to taking photos and making a movie to creating art projects, these workshops focus on helping girls build confidence and foster a positive self-esteem through creative multimedia arts expression. Go behind the scenes to make a video, design your own fashion and accessories, improve your photography technique, write for a teen magazine, become a radio DJ, explore new art techniques, and much more with our Creative Girls Saturday Camps. Join us and discover how to create your own creative expression projects with Latinitas, a nonprofit dedicated to helping local girls build confidence through media, art, culture and technology. These workshops are open to all girls in grades 4th through 8th (ages 9-14). These workshops are held from 10:30 to 12:30pm the third Saturday of each month at the Richard Burges Public Library, 9600 Dyer. The material fee for each workshop is $5 or $15 for the entire series of 5 workshops. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org, call 915.219.8554, or visit www.LasLatinitas.com.
