Lisa Huetteman is a nationally renowned expert on values-centered leadership. Her new book, The Value of Core Values: Five Keys To Success Through Value-Centered Leadership, shares the best practices of leaders who understand that while having the right strategy is needed to compete, having the right culture is essential for long term success.
In recent years, we have seen corporations deemed "too big to fail" fail miserably, and major banks, auto companies, and other giants require government bailouts to survive. But outside of the media spotlight, thousands of other for profit and nonprofit organizations of all sizes struggle every day with expensive, time-consuming challenges with customers, employees and other stakeholders. And then there are those organizations that manage to thrive in good times and bad, have dedicated, happy employees, and legions of loyal customers. What's their secret?
Drawing on over 30 years' experience working with Fortune 100, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations, Lisa Huetteman has distilled the essential ingredients for building long term business success. In her talk, she will discuss the five keys outlined in her book for success through values-centered leadership. Lisa will share how organizations that identify and explicitly define their core values, hire people who share them, and live them every day operate with a united vision and purpose that leads to exceptional performance.
