Broken Arrow recently revamped its downtown in an effort to be a pedestrian-friendly, inviting space that would not only attract visitors, but also local entrepreneurs who want to open a retail or restaurant business. The transformed downtown was renamed The Rose District and since the official upgrade nearly 10 new businesses have opened or announced plans to open.
Join TYPros for a walking tour of the successful Broken Arrow renovation as we learn about possibilities for improving downtown Tulsa. Tickets include food, drinks and optional transportation (park and ride from Guthrie Green; trolley leaves at 5:30 p.m.)
Tour will include cocktails and delicious treats from Main Street Tavern, Bru House, Fiesta Mambo and Nuvo Chocolate.
Broken Arrow Mayor Craig Thurmond will address our group with facts about the process of beautifying downtown and the impact it has on the economy.
