Camp is open to 7-10 year olds and held Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with free after care from 4-5:30 p.m.
In this two-week camp, students will learn how leading contemporary artists such as Wangechi Mutu, Anna Gaskell, Inka Essenhigh and Chiho Aoshima, incorporate fantasy and imagination in their bodies of work. Working with visiting artists, students will transform the classroom into their own make believe world by designing and building sculptural works and art installations. Parents will be invited to a closing celebration to view students’ work.
