This beginning workshop introduces the student to various tools used for Website Design.

Get some hands on time with this professional software!

This course is tailored for complete beginners with no website design experience.

Topics may include

  • Adobe Dreamweaver CS5
  • Wordpress, Joomla and other open source alternatives.

In this 90 minute workshop we will familiarize you with the software interface & discuss basic  features.

The student should leave the workshop with a basic familiarity of how the software is set up.

Working with Text, links ,images and background layouts and themes are some of the basics covered.We will also discuss resources for discovering more information on open source web design alternatives.


These classes are open to all GT affiliated  : undergrad, grad, faculty and staff

Workshops are usually held in the Homer Rice Center , 2nd floor of the library, near Maps and Special Formats.- behind the elevators.

Updates & information on the class, such as cancellations and rescheduling , will be sent to the email you provided on your registration form.

The classes are free and they are walk in. Classes are tailored for the Georgia Tech community- Priority is given to those who are registered  and Georgia Tech affiliated, but classes are open to the general public if space permits.
