Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Tinctures are liquid extracts of plants that can be used for a variety of common ailments. They are also quite easily made at home: all that is required are fresh or dried herbs, alcohol, and time. We will go over the basic tincture-making method and review some of the herbal tinctures you may want to add to your home apothecary. We will also use this method to create herbal-infused wines that are both delicious and healthful. In class we will taste various herbal wines and tinctures, and participants will create their own to take home.
After participating in the class, students will have in hand:
- Several tinctures and infusions
Students must be 21 or older to attend. Appropriate for adult beginners.
$40.00 class fee includes materials.
