In a world of processed foods and factory-made products, CRAFTED invites guests to slow down and celebrate the notion of things handmade. Displaying works from more than 40 ceramic artists, guests will see items made for the table, specifically those made to hold and/or serve food. An invitational exhibition featuring functional art, our mission with CRAFTED is to build awareness and a better understanding of the value handcrafted pots and food can bring to the table.
Join us for the opening on Friday, November 6 2015 from 6 – 8pm and participate in a celebration of handmade functional art, community, and local cuisine. Tickets include artisanal food and drink by Bar Marco, who will give a brief talk about their culinary philosophy while pairing some of their handcrafted fare with select pieces from the show.
Just in time for the holiday season, all pieces in the exhibition are available for sale and make perfect holiday entertaining pieces or special gifts. The tableware, including cups, mugs, bowls, platters, and more will be on view and for sale through December 28, 2015.
