Lunch Session Details: During this luncheon session, we will explore a more basic premise that requires attention if we are to fundamentally support the success of all children, especially those most vulnerable. Rather than addressing these issues by examining the various flaws in our systems that create a path to prison for too many of our most precious resources, we must first look to our own personal attitudes, beliefs, and culture.  The goal of this presentation is to look at the “whole of the problem” rather than to isolate one issue over another.

Day Two- Saturday, October 16th

8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Youth Leadership Day: youth activists working to dismantle the Prison Pipeline

Join us as we hear from youth active in creating meaningful social change, to change the trajectory from Prison, to COLLEGE.  This day will culminate with round table, action focused discussions between youth leaders and summit attendees.
