Do you want to take your making to the next level? This is a great opportunity to learn what other resources are available and to connect to the larger Chicagoland maker community.
Join us in visiting one of Chicago's local makerspaces, PS:1, where we will be given a private tour of the space. Then PS:1 members will demonstrate how to use some of their equipment and lead us in hands-on projects that combine technology, science, art and culture.
Transportation will be provided from the Harold Washington Library Center to PS:1. Meet at HWLC on the Plymouth Courtside at 1:30 p.m.--the bus will leave promptly at 1:45 p.m. Return bus will leave PS:1 at 5 p.m. and drop us off at 5:30 p.m. at HWLC, on Plymouth Court (please note: the library will be closed when we return).
Space is limited. Registration is required. PS:1 requires all participants to sign a waiver before entering the space.
