Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn (CBT) will premiere its first full-length ballet Cinderella on March 24, 2012 at Kingsborough Community College Performing Arts Center. A family-fest for the young and old, Cinderella tells the wonderful story of the girl whose inner beauty and kindness transcend her adverse and lonely circumstances. CBT's 10-member Company will be supported by members of the CBT Junior Company and Dance Academy in this retelling of the classic fairytale.
Artistic Director Marla Hirokawa utilizes her years of story telling experience to recreate the scenes in the Cinderella ballet. Filled with tutus, fairies and an assortment of intriguing creatures, this ballet is guaranteed to enthrall everyone in the audience.
