Event Details

Join Court Watch NOLA and other community-minded New Orleanians on November 18 for a special celebration benefiting this locally-acclaimed criminal justice reform nonprofit organization. Enjoy libations and hors d'oeuvres as we inaugurate the Lynne and Jerome Goldman Criminal Justice Reform Award to recognize individuals and corporations who have distinguished themselves in this important field.  We are delighted that our first honorees will be Merritt Lane, President and CEO of Canal Barge, and Matt Wisdom, CEO of TurboSquid.  Please join us for this momentous occasion.

Court Watch NOLA

Court Watch NOLA is New Orleans’ preeminent nonprofit working with a dedicated cadre of volunteers to promote efficiency, transparency and procedural fairness in our criminal courts – and 2013 was its busiest year ever. In the last year alone Court Watch NOLA worked with over 100 volunteers who made over 2,500 courtroom observations! CWN's most recent report – in which it describes how the system has turned a corner and is making improvements - earned unprecedented media attention, praise from criminal justice leaders like the District Attorney and Chief Judge, and raised public awareness about the importance of an effective and accountable criminal court system.
