About Cooper's UX Boot Camp

At Cooper, we believe you learn best by putting new skills into practice solving the kinds of challenges designers face on a daily basis. That’s why we designed UX Boot Camp, a four-day deep dive into our user experience design methodology that gives you a real-world problem to solve along with the toolkit you’ll need to tackle it.
What will you be doing?
In this UX Boot Camp, participants will be exploring new ways to support patients as they manage Multiple Sclerosis. Specifically, participants will team up to design distinct mobile solutions that help patients track their symptoms and medication, manage their lifestyle, and connect with others who have been affected by MS.
What is the UX Boot Camp?
The UX Boot Camp is an opportunity for designers, developers, and project managers who are familiar with the basics of Goal-Directed design (such as personas and scenarios) but want an opportunity to challenge and refine their skills by working on a focused project together. Over the course of four days, you’ll take a deep dive into Cooper’s Goal-Directed Design approach and apply what you learn to a real-world problem. By the end of day 4, you will have interviewed stakeholders and users, crafted fully developed personas and scenarios, sketched framework, and pitched your design concepts to a team of stakeholders and senior Cooper designers.

Should your plans change with less than 10 business days before class begins, there will be no refunds. However, we will be happy to transfer your registration to the next class that fits your schedule.
