Event Details

Due to a scheduling conflict with TEDMED, we have decided to reschedule our event yet again. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will be in touch with you as soon as we have the new dates.

Over a patient’s lifetime, healthcare is still largely provided through episodic, and often fragmented, contact between the patient and care delivery system. Modern mobile and connected technologies offer the opportunity to “infill” information between formal clinical care events, thus allowing a more robust continuum of care.

A range of information and collaboration technologies enable this infill – electronic medical records and other clinical applications, data repositories and analytic tools, connected biomedical devices and telehealth collaboration technologies. However, the promise of connected health goes beyond the communication of patients’ clinical data. It allows all actors within a healthcare delivery system – including the patient – to operate seamlessly.

In this symposium, we will look beyond current technologies, to examine the larger issues impacting the trajectory of connected health. In addition to the specific regulatory and design challenges in implementing connected health, we will explore the exciting new business opportunities created by the enabling technologies.

If you are interested in leveraging patient-monitored data, understanding new revenue models enabled by mobility and connectivity, or ways to improve care delivery and workflow, we invite you to join us for a day of informative and interactive sessions.
