Operating Room Culture for Medical Representatives
This 12-hour training (8-hour online prerequisite/4 contact hours onsite) seminar provides professionals with extensive knowledge of OR culture, Surgical Site Infection (SSI) prevention, universal precautions and more. The onsite portion of the seminar is offered at facilities which provide access to mock or functional operating rooms for optimum hands-on training. The cost of this seminar includes all course materials. The onsite portion of the seminar is taught by qualified, OR-experienced instructors.
4 Onsite Contact Hours
Students will receive a certificate of completion with an expiration date and a Representative Certification Number (RCN). Each medical rep will be required to renew their OR Representative Certification once a year by attending a follow-up seminar. Key will manage the status of each representative’s certification and will coordinate with representative companies on follow-up training. Each representative will provide their RCN to the HR department at each facility as part of the credentialing process.
Key Access Institute, LLC is an “Approved ABSA Training Program.” Students who are ABSA members will receive CEU/CME credits upon completion of a seminar (1 credit/hour). Students who are members of other CEU/CME granting organizations should contact those organizations prior to registering for a seminar to verify CEU/CME credit. Click here to learn more.
