Event Details

Substantial strides have been made in the global response to HIV.  Linkages between HIV and sexual and reproductive health programs have improved uptake of key services such as access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and ART and pre-exposure prophylaxis have proven effective in reducing HIV transmission between partners.  At the same time, sexual decision-making outside of the context of reproduction, which encompasses decisions surrounding a wide range of sexual behaviors, is often ignored.  This meeting, organized by the Group on Reproductive Health and Rights and co-sponsored by the Boston University Center for Global Health & Development, Program on Global Health and Human Rights, Institute for Global Health, University of Southern California, and Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies, will highlight the sexual and reproductive health and rights of a diverse community of people living with HIV.  Lunch will be provided.
