Contemporary Dance: Point of view on the street corner by the Association Manifeste
When: Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Atlanta, on the corner of Forsyth Street NW and Poplar Street NW (Atlanta, 30303)
In this delightful dance performance presented in the public space of Atlanta by the contemporary dance company Association Manifeste, Point de vue sur coin de rue, or "Point of view on the street corner", offers a unique opportunity to re-examine what we see and share.
The street corner is a unique metaphor for life: what you see and how you see it depends on where you’re standing.
Point of view on the street corner is an evolving piece that invites spectators to travel from one corner of the world to another. Through the unique choreography and stunning visual effects, audiences will bear witness to two spaces at the same time—one virtual, the other tangible, one known, the other recognizable, two distinct realities—one French, the other Atlantan—different visions of humanity where men and women continue to dance.
