The Skoll Global Threats Fund invites you to join us at the Castro Theater Sunday evening, October 28, 2012 at 7 p.m. (organ at 6:45 p.m.) for a special screening of "Contagion" in conjunction with the launch of Flu Near You, our collaborative project with the American Public Health Association and HealthMap.
A panel of experts including technical consultants on the film will engage the local audience of invited public health officials, healthcare providers, teachers, students, law enforcement, military, churches, and corporations in a town hall discussion after the film.
We are reserving a limited number of seats for the University of San Francisco students, faculty, staff, and friends.

Jeff Skoll launched the Skoll Global Threats Fund in 2009 to tackle the world’s most pressing issues. With Dr. Larry Brilliant as President, the Skoll Global Threats Fund has a mandate to drive large-scale global change on the most critical issues facing mankind. The new organization will identify and support innovative high-impact initiatives to combat climate change, water scarcity, pandemics, nuclear proliferation and Middle East conflict. The Skoll Global Threats Fund has headquarters in San Francsico, CA.
