Construction Career Days - Transportation Society Volunteer
Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 7:00 AM - Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Construction Career Days (CCD) began in 1999 and is now a nationally recognized event. CCD is geared toward high school and technical school students to help them discover the world of roadway construction. We strive to educate students, on a small group level with hands-on activities, about the opportunities and benefits of this exciting industry.
The Northeast Florida event will be held at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center on February 25th through 27th. Several transportation societies including, ASCE, ASHE, DBIA, and WTS have joined together to host fun and interactive sessions to teach the student participants interviewing and resume writing skills. Two groups of at least 3 volunteers are needed each of the three days. The sessions will be from 7:30 am to 11 am and from 10:30 am to 2 pm to allow for some overlap and transition. Please let us know which session you would prefer to volunteer.
