Connecting Chicago Community Gardeners
Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (CST)
This gathering is for all Chicago-based community gardeners to connect, network, share ideas/resources and create change.
This day is about collective strength among the dozens of community garden groups and hundreds of community gardens througout the city. How can we be stronger? Share resources? Network more? Ensure sustainability? As the role of food gardens and green space increases in our city, how can we - as leaders and passionate participants - postiively shape our future and have a powerful, collective voice with our city leadership?
These are the questions- YOU are the answer. Don't miss this event! Tell everyone you know in the community gardening world - we're ready for change and we're ready to do it TOGETHER.
