Congregation Beth Sholom's Premium Wine & Cheese Event
Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, CA
Early Bird Deadline Extended until November 26!!
Please join us for an afternoon of premium wine and gourmet cheese tasting at our synagogue, Congregation Beth Sholom, on Sunday, December 2nd, from 3 to 6 p.m.
We will be pouring premium wines from seven of the most prestigious vintners from the great Northern California wine country, accompanied by the delectable cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery. Each winery will bring its top of the line wines, many of which are not otherwise available outside the winery. In addition to the tasting, there will be some short presentations detailing what makes a premium wine. There will be opportunities to sign-up for these vintners premium wine clubs and to order wines directly from these vintners.
Michael Zilber, manager of the Cowgirl Creamery outlet in Point Reyes Station, will be available to discuss the exceptional cheeses he selects to pair with the wines. All are vegetarian-based rennet cheeses.
Tickets to the event are $100 per person until November 26, 2012 ($125 thereafter and at the door). All proceeds support our synagogue programs.
Raffle: We are raffling off fine wines from the cellars of congregants who have been collecting premium wines for many years. You may purchase additional raffle tickets at $25 each or five for $100. There will be a minimum of ten raffle prizes and the value of each raffle prize is at least $100. Your entry ticket entitles you to one raffle ticket. Raffle tickets are available for purchase even if you cannot attend the event. You need not be present to win a raffle prize.
