Confidence- Get More Clients & Close More Deals (Newbie Class)
Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (EDT)
New York, United States
Learning to sell will be the single most important skill you learn in life.
Whether you're looking to launch a business, create a non-profit or get the job you have always dreamt of, selling is key and there is nothing sleazy about it when you do it right.
But for many people, even the idea of 'selling' is really intimidating. I constantly hear people say things like:
"I can't find clients for my business. Freelancing is too hard..."
"I can't get a job, the economy is too tough. All of the jobs are taken..."
"I think sales are sleazy. I don't want to be associated with that..."
The great news is that none of those statements are true. They're self-limiting beliefs that hold you back from achieving the success you need and deserve.
Come to this class where I will teach you the basic fundamentals of selling to help people get more clients. This class is a basic intro course and is NOT meant for advanced sales professionals nor does it focus on selling to corporate companies.
You can expect:
- Practice exercises: Leave with strong insight into getting inside your customer's head, mastering the pitch and how to have a real, human conversation.
- Learn my method for getting clients
- Q&A: bring your questions and ideas! Let's focus on what you need answered the most.

When & Where
No one masters self employment without help from others. As more and more people pursue independent careers, the need for structure, education, and shared accountability grows accordingly. Just as industries have risen to accommodate the needs of a white collar employed workforce, so too will new services be built for the new independent workforce.
To this end, we provide a platform that allows participants to to create programs that are geared toward this goal. These efforts take the forms of classes, workshops, coworking sessions, mentorships, speaker series, and more. The program is driven by a core belief that each participant has something to teach and something to learn from everyone else.
