Share Conference for Midwest Nanotechnician Programs

Event Details

On Friday, October 10th, Oakton Community College will host the first  Conference for Midwest Nanotechnician Programs at the Conference Center of the Illinois Science + Technology Park (8045 Lavon Ave, Skokie, IL).  Pre-conference registration is $35 that includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

Join us as undergraduate and high school faculty from the midwest  share course materials, credential outlines, and assessment activities associated with their nanotechnology curriculum.  Industrial and alumni presentations will embellish discussions that provide insight on student opportunities both during and upon completion of represented  programs.

 Registration is available on a first come, first serve basis and seats are limited, so don't hesitate to register.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Public transportation is available to the Illinois Science + Technology Park Transportation on the Chicago Transit Authority's Yellow Line.  The Skokie-Oakton station is adjacent to a multi-level parking garage that you can enter from Searle Avenue just west of Skokie Blvd for travel by auto.  Searle Avenue is one block north of the intersection of Oakton Street and Skokie Blvd.
