The Worcester Chamber Music Society is this season fusing their concert program with ours—a win-win situation for all. The ensemble took the Worcester scene by storm with their original concert in 2006. It has become a recognized cultural presence by presenting sold out concerts to captivated audiences, receiving consistent critical acclaim and building new, young audiences through its community connections program, and training rising musicians through both its school residency and Summer Festival programs. Each of the outstanding core performers has a unique background and expertise that he/she brings to every performance, offering the listener an unforgettable concert experience.
We will hear eight musicians presenting Two Songs by Brahms, the Piston Quintet for Flute and Quartet, and Mozart’s String Quintet in C
