New Hope Lutheran Church is a suburban ELCA Lutheran Church in Missouri City, TX, south west of Houston, and east of Sugar Land.  It believes that the "good news" of God is for all people regardless of their personal status, race, creed, sexuality or anyother label or condition that divides and separates people.  It has been a champion of mission work to the underprivileged for many years sponsoring or having sponsored at one time: the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, the New Hope Clinic, Family Promise of Fort Bend County, the InterFaith Coalition for Mutual Respect and El Beun Pastor Lutheran Church in Usulatan, El Salvador.

New Hope believes that each person is endowed with special gifts from The Creator that can be used for betterment of the world and the good of all humankind.  It is proud to empower its members to service, whether that be in worship, through music and artistic expression, or in mission, through charitable giving of time, money, and abilities.  It is our prayer that everyone that comes through our door will find themselves, "good soil" for the goodness of God to grow in them and that they will then set out into the world to make it a better place.

New Hope Welcomes all People to its worship services and special events.
