This registration site is for residents of Hillsborough County ONLY. If you live in another county, please go to Compost Happens, Water-Wise and Rain Water Harvesting Workshop (Non-Hillsborough County Residents) to register for these workshops.

 

8:30 AM - Attend a Compost Happens Workshop and learn to turn trash to treasure. You'll receive a free compost bin and thermometer too (1 per household and the representative of the household must be an adult )*!

Sponsored by Hillsborough County Extension and Water Resource Services/Public Utilities, University of Florida IFAS, Tampa Bay Water and Tampa Water Department.

 

*If you have attended any of this workshop in the past you are not eligible to receive another free item.*

Hillsborough County Extension Service

The mission of the Hillsborough Extension Office is to respond to local issues and needs through customized education and training in agriculture, horticulture, 4-H/youth development, and family and consumer sciences.

 

Your Hillsborough County Extension agents offer educational services through a three-way cooperative arrangement between the Board of County Commissioners, the University of Florida, and the United States Department of Agriculture.  Your local extension agents are off-campus faculty members of the University of Florida. They are trained professionals who are here to serve you.
