Wednesdays beginning October 3rd through December 19th from 1-4pm (excluding November 21st). PLEASE NOTE: You only need to register for the first session on October 3 to register for the entire program through December 19.
This program will enhance the participant’s understanding of the writing process be it academic, creative, technical, or professional. All genres will be considered and participants can expect to be challenged in numerous disciplines including rhetoric, grammar, style, organization, and clarity. Students will be required to provide their own original material as well as read and review the work of others in an attempt to master the editorial process.
Peter Dantinne, a Lancaster County native and local resident, will instruct the class. Mr. Dantinne is a graduate of the Writer’s Institute at Susquehanna University, and received an M.F.A. in writing from Chapman University. He has been a part of over 50 workshops as both a teacher and a student.
Participants will be expected to apply roughly 10 hours a week to the class as well as have access to a printer; a printer may be available through the library at a nominal cost if necessary. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. (Windolph Room)
Please pay all outstanding library fines before attending library programs.
