Winona State University will present information on changes to their composites engineering program based on feedback received from the composite companies.
1:00: Tour of the Composites Materials Technology Center (COMTEC)
This Composites Materials Technology Center is committed to creating a higher standard for the composites industry. Using WSU students, COMTEC has undertaken hundreds of projects for companies including design, analysis, materials characterization, testing, prototype manufacturing, and customized training.
WSU's Composite Engineering Program & Center
This program began in the late 1980s to meet the needs of the area's high concentration of composite companies.
Their graduates are now employed by many well-known companies nationwide.
