Matthew Wolf of Henry Frerk Sons, Inc. leads this 2-part series approved for Continuing Education for Architects Credit.

Build Your Own Cold Frame Workshop Tuesday Oct 1 @ 2101 Dempster | 6:30-8pm

Extend the growing season using cold frame technology! You could spend over $500 buying new or $50 to build it yourself! In this hands-on workshop hosted by Gareth Proctor of Endless Greens you will build your very own cold frame (kind of like a mini-greenhouse) with reclaimed building material. All materials are included (except for the plants!) and participants will go home ready for the growing season. Space is limited so register early!

5% Reuse Ordinance Workshop Thursday October 24 @ 2101 Dempster | 12-1pm

Free workshop for demo/decon/general contractors on the NEW and REQUIRED Demolition Debris Diversion Ordinance. Did you know? If you’re taking down just one structural wall you must comply! With Bryant Williams of the Department of Environmental Control, learn about the economic and environmental benefits of deconstruction and how to comply with Cook County's reuse and recycling initiative.
