Community management is often a hard concept to grasp—whether you need strategic or tactical help or need to start from the basics, this class is an excellent resource. It’s often easy to lose sight of the fact that it’s not just about building a large and relevant community, but also about sustaining the digital neighborhood you’ve created.   

This daylong session with begin by reviewing the purpose of community management, relevant objectives, and then go in-depth on how to develop your community management strategy. Lastly we will discuss the various facets that encompass community management, and give you the tool belt you’ll need to both launch your community and track your progress along the way.  The session will cover a spectrum of topics including:

·      Community Definition

·      Branding Within Your Community

·      Content Creation

·      Distributing Your Message

·      Defining Appropriate Community Based Metric

An entrepreneur at heart and problem-solver by trade, Lauren is currently the CEO and Founder of Perks Consulting, a digital brand and marketing agency specializing in the fusion of lifestyle and technology based in New York City. Lauren is also a contributor to Inc., Forbes Women, and regularly teaches at General Assembly.
