Save the Date! Join us for an evening of entertainment, drinks and hors d’oevre to honor Hadley Dale Hall with the Norma Satten Community Service innovation Award at Marine’s Memorial Club in San Francisco.
Every year we honor a local leader with the Norma Satten Community Service Innovation Award. Norma gave her wisdom and generosity for more than 40 years to protect the rights of seniors and people with disabilities. She was an innovator who worked tirelessly to improve services in San Francisco. Past honorees include other remarkable leaders, Libby Denebeim (2012) and Anni Chung (2013). We are pleased to announce that this year’s honoree will be Hadley Dale Hall, a long time advocate and visionary for home and community-based long-term services and supports, in both professional and volunteer leadership roles.
When & Where
Community Living Campaign
Building Networks to Reduce Isolation and Eliminate Barriers to Aging in Community.
The Community Living Campaign (CLC) builds small communities of caring friends – social networks – that engage older adults and persons with disabilities and enable them to live in communities where everyone’s strengths, abilities, and contributions are valued.
CLC's local Community Connectors encourage neighbors to help each other, creating groups and activities that match each community's unique needs and interests. These include healthy aging workshops, computer classes and labs, food delivery, home repairs, exercise and dance classes, breast cancer support, advocacy, and social activities
