RESOLUTION 2013 - OWN IT!
You are invited to our 9th Committed to Communities event which will showcase homeownership possibilities in the Reynoldstown and Edgewood neighborhoods. The tour will include approximately 10 homes for sale. The starting location for this home and community tour is the offices of Resources for Residents and Communities at the Lang Carson Community Center, 100 Flat Shoals Avenue, SE, Atlanta, 30316 on Saturday, June 15th. At the host location, guests will be able to pick up maps for the tour, obtain refreshments and real estate professionals will be on hand to help individuals achieve homeownership in 2013:
- Down payment assistance providers will be available to explain how to obtain funds that can help you with your purchase, including NeighborhoodLIFT ($15,000).
- Loan officers will be on hand to discuss 203k renovation loans for purchasing an affordable fixer-upper, as well as traditional financing for ready-to-go homes.
- Home buyer education providers will explain the steps to become a fully informed buyer.
The current low cost Atlanta housing market offers an unprecedented opportunity to purchase a home and start investing in your future! With the much-anticipated Atlanta BeltLine adding value and appeal to city neighborhoods, the communities of Southwest Atlanta are attractive destinations for those who wish to live close to downtown while surrounding themselves with a small-town feel.
In addition to open house tours like this one, the Committed to Communities program works to promote Atlanta Beltline communities through community-wide clean-ups, hosting barbecues in local parks and actively renovating vacant homes.
