On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM (EDT), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 3 office will host a free webinar on small-scale combined heat and power (CHP) application in the Mid-Atlantic. The webinar will provide a forum for attendees to learn about how small-scale CHP systems work and what the economic, environmental, and efficiency benefits of these systems are, particularly for hotel, college/university and office buildings. Examples of current CHP applications in downtown Philadelphia will be profiled to highlight the CHP process.
The webinar will include a presentation and case studies by Philadelphia Gas Works, the nation’s largest municipally owned natural gas utility, serving more than 500,000 customers.
- Sherif Youssef, Director of Sales and Marketing, is responsible for facilitating and implementing cost effective energy solutions for commercial and industrial PGW customers. Mr. Youssef is a Mechanical Engineer who holds a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA and DE. He also has an MBA from LaSalle University.
- John Zuk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been with PGW for over 25 years and is responsible for the direction of all PGW marketing sales efforts, as well as strengthening existing and new business relations. Mr. Zuk holds a B.A. and MBA from LaSalle University, and received his CEM from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
