Coloring Outside the Lines: integrating the arts into your classroom
Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM (MDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Join Chalkbeat Colorado for a fun, interactive event for teachers and education professionals! We will explore the ways in which the arts can be integrated into teaching practice, no matter the subject.
Registration begins at the Clyfford Still Museum at 4:30pm – explore local art in participating Golden Triangle sponsors for a scavenger hunt. We’ll circle back to the museum for our panel of arts integration experts.
While this is a fun summer treat for some, I understand that for many of you, the school year has already begun. If you can't make the art walk, you can still join us for our panel discussion and free walkthrough of the Clyfford Still Museum at 6:15!
This event is free, open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided!
A special thank you to our generous sponsors:
When & Where
Chalkbeat is the nonprofit news organization covering the national effort to transform public education. We are mission-driven journalists who believe that an independent local press is vital to ensuring that education improves. We seek to provide deep local coverage of education policy and practice that informs decisions and actions, leading to better schools.
Chalkbeat was founded in 2013 as a merger of GothamSchools and EdNews Colorado, the award-winning news sites that are now known as Chalkbeat New York and Chalkbeat Colorado. While each local Chalkbeat bureau works together to sustain our operations, each bureau is editorially independent.
