Business owners: Are you a new business and thinking about a website or are you established and wonder what the colors on your website communicate about your business? Join me as I give a 2 part workshop on Color Branding & Usage for websites. The information can also be applied to logos, newsletters, and graphic driven (HTML) emails.
Workshop will held during BBR Chicago meetings at Ann Sathers 909 Belmont Ave. 7:15 - 8:45 am in the morning. Guests are always welcome and there is no attendance fee; just order from menu and tip generously. Have a 30 second elevator pitch ready and bring plenty of business cards for before and after meeting networking.
Location: 1/2 block East of the Belmont Red/Brownline stop. There is limited parking available in back.
The first part we will as a group work on an exercise that lists common associations we have with certain colors in different contexts.
The second part we will look at existing websites and discuss colors in terms of brand association, color variation, balance & proportions, readability, and general overall feel.
Part one: Oct 3 ~ be prepared to work on a creative exercise

Susan Barahia has been building websites since 1999 and now focusing on the usability and color branding. She is the principal of BesignOnline and in the process of obtaining an associate membership with the International Association of Color Consultants and Designers.
BBR Chicago is a networking organization representing a variety of companies, dedicated to building business relationships.
