Truffles from Cake Chicago will be available for sale on a first come-first-serve basis for those interested. Individual truffles are $2.50 and a box of 9 is $27.50. Additional ceramic tea bowls, platters and excentricities will be for sale in the boutique.
February 2nd or February 9th, 7PM
Collective Conversations in Clay and The Salon Series present “Chocolate Soirée,” an evening of food, art and beverage pairings linked through discussion. We’ve brought together nine ceramic artists and paired them with their choice of hand-rolled chocolate truffles from local Chicago confectionery cake. Each artist has created artwork to reflect the tastes, textures and emotions experienced when indulging in chocolate. Some of the artists will introduce their work and the pairing, followed by a review by another exhibiting artist and an audience Q & A. Please join us for this unique, relaxed experience enjoying these artistic and culinary delights in the beautiful Bridgeport Art Center gallery.
Ticket price includes nine hand-rolled chocolate truffles, complementary single-malt Scotch from Auchentoshan, beers by 5 Rabbit, a selection of wines, substantial catered hors d’oeuvres and conversations with the artists.
Additional truffles and artwork will be available for purchase in our boutique. Parking is complimentary.

Collective Conversations in Clay, established by Gina Hutchings of Lunar Media Events, encourages ceramic artists to collaborate with their surroundings and create something they never would have made without these influences. It also allows the combination of emerging artists from very different levels in their careers, muddling them together and bridging a gap in the art community.
