Event Details

Colin Dickey reads from Afterlives of the Saints ($24.95), a collection of groundbreaking essays about seemingly unsaintly topics, such as Renaissance anatomy, the history of spontaneous human combustion, the dangers of masturbation, and the pleasures of castration. Each essay focuses on the story of a particular (and particularly strange) saint.
