Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Depression - Using the Individual and Group BRIGHT program

This 5 hour seminar will focus on using a manualized cognitive behavior therapy protocol for Building Recovery by Improving Goals, Habits, and Thoughts. A descriptive manual will be used during the session and an electronic copy of the BRIGHT Program for Depression will be sent to all registered participants once online registration is completed. Registration will also be offered on the morning of the event.
5 Continuous Education Units will be offered at no additional cost for LMHC, LMFT, and LCSW requirements.
About the Presenter:
Dr. Raul Machuca is a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. He is a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Machuca is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Barry University. He is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. Dr. Machuca is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the American Counseling Association, and Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society International. Dr. Machuca is the Clinical Supervisor for the Family Enrichment Center as well as Practicum and Internship Instructor both at the master and doctoral level.
