CoffeeCon is the ultimate coffee festival, university and coffee drinkers meet-up. 

George Howell For the Love of Coffee Lab is an additional $15 ticket which you can purchase after purchasing the main admission ticket.

If we are in the third wave, when does the fourth start? What is beyond drip pour-overs and direct trade organic, single-origin coffee beans? An on-stage think tank of coffee’s learned best lead a lively discussion describing the current state-of-the art, what’s coming right around the bend, and predicting the long term future of our favorite beverage.

Age limit to enter the event?

Children under 12 may enter for free with an adult. 


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking buildings are all within 2-4 blocks of the venue.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes you may purchase tickets for others and give as gifts. However you might want to enter the persons name so they can win prizes. You must be present to win and names will be called from the registration. We had so many coffee give-a-ways last year that almost everyone left with something. 


Can I update my registration information?

Yes on your Eventbrite account. 


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

All you have to do to get in is bring your printed ticket or code to scan on your phone to be instantly admitted. 


What is the refund policy?

100% refund up to 7 days before the event. 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

That's OK but you might not win any prizes which are valued from $10 to $500 as only the registered names are entered into the drawings.

Kevin Sinnott

Kevin Sinnott started his coffee writing career with his newletter The Coffee Companion in the early 1990s and it became He has never gone to the dark side and sold coffee or coffee products. He's a consumer just like you, but he believes coffee, unlike wine, demands that consumers learn how to brew. He's written two books on the subject of coffee. His latest "The Art & Craft of Coffee" is are considered the definitive text on brewing and a best seller on Amazon.

He's toured various cities bring his home brewing message and brewing demos delivered with a comic twist. He's appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, 20/20, The Food Network, radio stations, newpapers and magazines.

His latest video coffee project is Mission Coffee Can, a reality webseries, that follows a group of college students as they learn the bean from field to market. This series was one of five finalists in 2011 International Broadcasting Conference in Amsterdam.

His DVD, Coffee Brewing Secrets, is a video how-to-brew guide taught by the nation's leading experts. This DVD is the basis for CoffeeCon, a consumer coffee festival and university. "I realized we were all online discussing something we could not really fully compare without getting together", Sinnott says. "CoffeeCon brings us all together for perhaps the world's most delicious and aromatic event.
