Code for America January 2013 Open House
Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (PST)
San Francisco, CA
It's 2013, and the third year of the Code for America fellowship. Chosen out of a pool of over 550, 28 talented, passionate developers, designers and urbanists are giving a service-year to work with 10 municipalities across the country. Swing by our office on January 29 to meet them, learn about their projects, and wish them luck before they head off to their cities for the month of February.
Doors open at 6:30pm; at 7:15pm, for those interested, CfA Founder Jennifer Pahlka will present a short overview of CfA's mission, program, and outcomes -- and how you can get involved.
Beverages and light refreshments will be served.
Code for America is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and welcomes any tax-deductible donations to support the event and our work.
When & Where
Code for America
Founded in 2009, Code for America (CfA) is a national nonprofit that partners with local governments and citizens to foster civic innovation. By working to reinvigorate civic participation, accelerate the civic startup marketplace, facilitate collaboration between government leaders, and build new tools that enhance and strengthen communities, CfA is helping governments solve old problems in new ways. CfA is working towards a government by the people, for the people, that works in the 21st Century.
