When & Where
The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation
The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation was established in Rhode Island in order to raise awareness, encourage early detection and support research in hopes of a cure for esophageal cancer.
Founded on November 21, 2011, in memory of Salvatore Molfesi, who lost his courageous battle against esophageal cancer in 1998; our mission is to give assistance and support to individuals and families who are affected by esophageal cancer. We believe in education, awareness, early detection, screening and advanced research to promote esophageal health and the treatment and prevention of esophageal cancer.
