Peace of Mind
Processing combat experiences into a peaceful civilian life
Diminishing the cost of war for former combat IDF soldiers and allowing them to start their civilian life in the best possible way. This after freeing them from any emotional burdens they might be coping with following their combat service while defending the state of Israel and the Jewish people.
The POM program is aimed at processing combat experiences for young men and women that have served for three or more years in high risk combat units in the IDF. Together with IDF officials, the program identifies units who have faced exposure to extremely difficult combat situations and provides the necessary treatment that aids in strengthening their emotional health and resilience. The program's goal is to aid in the integration of these men and women back into civilian life after their dedicated time of service and allow them to embark upon healthy and productive civilian lives. Three workshops are held over the 90 day program period. The first and last workshops are held in Israel, while the center piece is a week-long workshop held while hosted for a weeks' time by a Jewish community abroad. To date we have held 14 POM groups worldwide.
