Latin American Association

The Latin American Association (LAA) empowers Latinos to achieve their educational, social and economic aspirations.

Serving more than 52,000 people each year, the LAA helps families and individuals become self-sufficient and integrate fully into the community.  As the largest bilingual and bicultural organization dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of Latino community, the LAA delivers a range of comprehensive social and legal services including immigration services, family services, workforce development and youth initiatives in partnership with other organizations.

The LAA’s Immigration Services Department provides professional low or no-cost legal services for low-income immigrants.  This reception will specifically support:  The LAA’s legal services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking, representation for non-detained immigrants who are placed in deportation proceedings and legal services for the organization’s high volume of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals clients.
