Join us as we celebrate Barb Leopold’s 40+ years of service
as professor and coach at D/MLC.
Saturday, April 26, 2014
Believe it or not, Coach Leopold is retiring! Please join us for any or all of the day’s events. Although we are specifically inviting former softball players, all former players, students, co-workers, and friends of Coach Leopold are welcome to attend. You are also welcome to bring your family along. We were not able to find emails for many of the ladies, so please forward/share this with your friends and former teammates. The plan for the day is below.
All attendees are asked to park in the Cross Lot (between chapel and gym).

We’d like to honor coach by nominating her for The Shepherd Society. Any called worker (active or retired) may be given this honor. The purpose is to thank the Good Shepherd for providing a faithful servant who positively impacted lives of others through their ministry. Coach would receive a plaque and certificate and all financial gifts received would go to MLC to help support the training of future workers like Coach Leopold. Cash or checks toward this may be given at registration. A card basket will also be available at the registration table for those who would like to leave a personal note and/or gift. You may also mail cards to Martin Luther College, c/o Lori Unke, 1995 Luther Ct. New Ulm, MN 56073.
We need your help in putting together the post-game slideshow/presentation. Scanned/digital photos, as well as short video messages for Coach can be sent to Julie Detjen firstname.lastname@example.org. Please submit them by March 21.
No hotel blocks have been made, so please contact area hotels directly to make your accommodation arrangements if necessary.
