CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Volunteer Signup 2016

Volunteers are essential in the success of any great event. They are vital in providing a safe, organized and fun race. It will take over 2,000 volunteers to ensure the safety, accuracy, fun and the highest level of organization necessary to produce the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K.

Volunteers are needed to help with the packet pick-up at the Expo, course marshalling, distributing water, handout finishers' medals and in many other areas that make up the Monumental Marathon week-end. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.

Now is your chance to take part in welcoming all of the athletes and spectators that will be joining us for this amazing world class event. All volunteers will receive a Race Crew T-Shirt and some light refreshments, depending on their location.

Are there age requirements for volunteering?

All volunteers must be at least 12 years old.

What if I have a large group that wants to volunteer?

Please email, Community Outreach Manager, at community@beyondmonumental.org for more details to get your group signed up!

How do I sign up to volunteer with friends or family?

Please have you friends or family complete the registration process. While doing so please have them make note in the “comments section” of who else they would like to volunteer with. Also, when you arrive on event day, remind our staff that you're together and they'll assign you to the same area!

What are my parking options getting to the event?

More details to come. Once you've signed up, you'll receive an e-mail the week of the event with final instructions.

What should I wear?

All volunteers receive a Race Crew T-Shirt. Besides this, wear something comfortable!

Can I run AND volunteer?

Sure! We have positions open for the Expo on Thursday and Friday, and setup on Friday evening the night before.
