Share Clovis Big Hat Century

Event Details

The Fresno Cycling Club is excited to sponsor this group of rides called the Clovis Big Hat Century beginning in Clovis on Clovis' annual "Big Hat" day event. The rides will all start at the same time, 8:00 am from the rear parking lot of the Sierra Vista Mall. The group will proceed north through the middle of Clovis on Clovis Avenue with a Police excort and rolling road closures. The 10 mile ride will catch the Fresno/Clovis Rail Trail for an out and back ride. The remaining rides will proceed out of town on their respective routes. The 32 mile, Metric Century and Century riders will be treated to some amazingly beautiful foothill and mountainous sceney with the Century riders looping around beautiful Bass Lake. The rides will be fully supported with Rest stops and SAG. Riders will enjoy a scrumptious after ride meal upon their return.

The Fresno Cycling Club is one of the oldest and largest bicycling club in Central Valley California. We are a community of like minded people with a passion for bicycling that promote and model safe and legal bicycle riding for recreation and transportation. We value riding our bicycles with friends, organizing cycling programs and events, funding bicycle-related organizations and programs and advocating for laws and infrastructure improvements that support safe cycling. We strive to promote a mutual respect between motorists and bicyclists by adhering to the Bicyclist’s Code of Conduct. As a member of the Club you become an Advocate for better bicycling.

If you did not register online by April 4th, you can still register Friday from 5-7pm at Clovis Bicycle Shop or on the morning of the ride at the registration table!  Hope to see you there!
