Event Details

Celebrate Earth Day 2014 at the Albany Waterfront with the Watershed Project!

Where: Albany Waterfront, at the foot of Buchanan Street

When: Saturday April 19th, 2013, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Celebrate this Earth Day by cleaning up the Albany Waterfront. Join us in picking up trash along the waterfront. Educational activities will be held throughout the day, including a fun and exciting treasure hunt for children! Learn about local efforts to protect our watersheds. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided for nourishment as you work hard to clean up our environment!

-We will provide tools and gloves. If you have your own pair of gloves and a bucket, please bring them so everyone gets a chance to pitch in and our event can be as waste-free as possible!

-Bring your own reusable water bottle

-Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes

-Let us know if your party will be a group of 5+

-Children MUST be accompanied by an adult

-Valid for Community Service hours

We look forward to seeing you at the Albany Waterfront! If you have any questions or would like to RSVP your group, please email Vanessa@thewatershedproject.org
