Raising Awareness and Inspiring Hope

Human trafficking, a modern-day form of slavery, is going on all over the world and in cities like Pittsburgh. Let’s bring this into the light and fight this horrendous crime against women, children, and men. We can all do something to help.

This could be the evening that you change someone’s life!

6:30-8:00 Speakers: What is Human Trafficking? What Can We Do?

o   Barbara Amaya, a trafficking survivor, author and speaker, is an advocate for human trafficking victims and survivors. She shares her story on radio,television and speaking and writes about trafficking for the Washington Times.Ms. Amaya works tirelessly on human trafficking legislation

o   Dr. Mary C. Burke, Faculty member in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Carlow University, is the founder of the Project to End Human Trafficking and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition. Internationally, Dr. Burke has worked in a number of countriesincluding Costa Rica to stop the sex trafficking of women and girls.

Diana Fletcher is the Stress Reducing Expert Author, Life Coach and Speaker. She inspires people to live lives of happiness and abundance. She became aware of the Human Trafficking issue in 2012 and is devoting much of her time and energy toward raising awareness of this very serious issue.

 

Diana is the author of six books including Happy on Purpose: Daily Messages of Empowerment and Joy for Women and Reduce Your Stress Month by Month Stress Reducing Strategies.

 

Diana has facilitated workshops for businesses and corporations such as H.J. Heinz Corporation, Phillips Corporation and Marc USA. She is frequently asked to be the Keynote Speaker at women's health fairs and business conventions. She also coaches individuals and small groups.
