- O'Kelly Library, Room 202, Winston-Salem NC
Co-Sponsored by Wellness Center
Faculty members are in a unique position to influence and assess the behavior of individual students over time. No other employees of the College see students as frequently as classroom faculty. As such, faculty members need to be aware of policies and procedures involving issues of safety and student discipline. This training assists faculty with understanding how to handle potentially difficult or violent situations. Learn more about the Threat Assessment Committee and University procedures to deal with distressed and disruptive students by participating in this Lunch and Learn workshop.
Registration Deadline is September 30th, 2013 by 5:00 pm, Complimentary lunch will be served.
CETL workshops and trainings are open to WSSU faculty and staff only. Please provide your @wssu.edu email account for verification.
